We have the following positions available. These positions could be separate positions or for the right person, more than one.

Group Fitness Instructor

We are looking for a reliable Group fitness instructor to lead and coordinate group adult sessions, specifically REFIT, Rev and Flow and Barre or willing to train.

 

Responsibilities

- Plan and instruct a variety of fun, safe and effective classes & workouts for groups

- Set up and monitor class equipment, and ensure it is used appropriately and returned in serviceable condition

- Ability to design routines and workouts to suit a range of ages, abilities and needs

- Advise participants on class procedures and policies, as appropriate

- Answer questions from participants after session

- Ensure that safety and injury prevention policies and procedures are adhered to by participants

- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

- Actively promote other sessions and programs within BFF

- Sign/book clients in for sessions

 

Requirements & skills

- Strong oral and written communication

- Ability to modify exercises and techniques for all fitness levels

- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time and balance professional and personal commitments

- Ability to follow policies and procedure, arrive prepared and on time for work and consistently demonstrate service excellence

Required

Must have completed cert 3 in fitness or willingness to undertake training

First aid certification or willingness to undertake certification

​

Minimum hours: dependant on quliafications - 2 sessions a week with potential for growth

Pilates Reformer Instructor

We are looking for a Pilates Reformer Instructor.

 

Responsibilities

- Conduct small group Reformer sessions

- Ability to adjust routines to suit a range of ages, abilities and injuries

- Advise participants on class procedures and policies, as appropriate

- Answer questions from participants after session

- Ensure that safety and injury prevention policies and procedures are adhered to by participants

- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

- Actively promote other sessions and programs within BFF

- Sign/book clients in for sessions
